Rules for the 45th Session of the Académie des Vins Anciens

This session is open to lovers of old wines, whether or not they bring a bottle. As the number of seats is limited, registrations will be confirmed in the order in which requests are received.

1 – Participants without a wine

The participation fee is €300 per person, payable before September 26, 2026.

Please confirm by email to lechantduvin@gmail.com or nala8@msn.com that your payment has been made. Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of your payment.

2 – Participants bringing wine

Participants wishing to bring a wine must:

  • Propose an old wine and provide all relevant information about it, including the fill level of the bottle.
  • Send clear photographs of the bottle. Each image must not exceed 500 KB, must be attached to the email (not embedded in the message), and must be clearly legible.
  • Obtain my approval before sending the proposed bottle(s).
  • Comply with the following minimum age requirements:
    • Champagnes: vintage 1996 or older
    • White wines: vintage 1990 or older
    • Red wines and sweet wines: vintage 1971 or older

Delivery instructions are provided below.

Bottles must be delivered between October 20 and November 16, 2026.

Registrations are confirmed in the order requests are received.

The participation fee is €190 per person, payable before September 26, 2026.
